wind,oh 風よ
An instrument the weather plays. Live wind from eight places around the world swings a chime for each, drawn as thin lines as it goes.

tide 潮よ
wind,oh’s sibling, played by the sea. Waves at eight harbors strike a chime for each, and the tide lifts and lowers the melody.

The Medicean Stars
Jupiter’s four large moons, and five other resonant systems, played as they pass behind the planet, slip into its shadow and cross its face.
The drawing is the moons right now, east on the left.
BAbout
Ochre is the oldest paint there is: earth, dug up and ground, and people have been making marks with it for at least 75,000 years.
The works here start the same way, by watching something that repeats (the wind, the sea, the moons of Jupiter) and making a way to hear it.
